rogue accountant... help needed

Hi all
I am getting all my documents to apply for a spouse visa, I will prove my income through my Limited Comapny. Now this accountant has done my first year unaudited accounts, so I assked of a certificate of confirmation, and he cant provide it, because I have just found out that hes not registered with any UK Supervisory Body so my question is will the ECO let me off the hook if I present the account without the confirmation certificate.

I have employed a new chartered accountant but je cannot provide this since he didn't prepare the submited accounnts. anybody been here before, please help

Short answer - no - the documentation requires the certification.

You need to get your new accountant to prepare new accounts.

It is just a nuisance as ill have to wait for my current accounting year to finish before I can get a new set of account, but I guess is beter to wait than to submit the old accounts and get refused....
