PEO
- Faster: usually one day, but may take longer - see other posts on the forum by people who have had their applications held for longer
- More expensive: fees are in the guidance notes

Considerations specific to HSMP JR
- Check that you can do a PEO appointment for HSMP JR extensions. When I applied for my most recent extension (2 years ago) PEO wasn't available for HSMP JR, but maybe this has changed.
- Caseworkers probably haven't seen many HSMP JR applications for a while so may be less familiar with what is required and may consider it "complex" (i.e. can't do on same day) or have to refer it to a senior caseworker. I don't have any specific info either way, so maybe others who have been to PEO for HSMP JR can post?
