Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme and ILR

Post by dualnational1 » Mon May 27, 2013 11:20 pm

Does the time spent on the Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme count towards the 10 year ILR long residency?

It says this on the UKBA website:

"You cannot apply for permission to settle in the UK (also known as 'indefinite leave to remain') from Tier 5, and time spent in any tier 5 category will not count towards any application for settlement that you make in the future."

But it only says 10 years of continuous residency on the Long Residence Guidance.

Many thanks in advance!!
