Tier 2(General) and Tier 2 (ICT)

Post by vickysingh » Tue May 28, 2013 10:45 am

Hi,my current employer in india is going to file for Tier 2 (ICT) for UK for me. Also there is a UK employer who is ready to file Tier 2 (General) for me. My query is can both the employers file for Tier 2 work permit , one in ICT and other as Tier 2 General at same time. Does it impact the approval of either of applications if both are filed around same time. Chances of approval are more for which category and how long generally these take.

Also what would happen if both get approved.

Have the cake and eat it too. Not possible.
How UKBA will handle the 'The racing condition' you are testing them for, I don't know.

So, 'sending passport for vignette', '5-days gap in filling sponsorship' are irrelevant.

What I know is - One can not have more than one UK visa at the same time. When your new visa gets approved, old one stands cancelled.

Validity of more than one visa has been discussed before in this forum.
