maintenace funds

me and my brother are applying for tier 1 ent visa.

the maintenance funds and investment funds are in two different accounts, both are joint accounts.

my question is about the maintenance funds account, can it be in joint account for 3 months, or it has to be in individual accounts

It should be fine, but it's not be ISA account (saving).
