Tier 2 general in-country application - maintenance query

Post by patelmilanb1 » Wed May 29, 2013 10:31 am

I am currently on Tier 1 general and my visa is expiring on 10th June 2013. i am switching to Tier 2 general now. my company has given me COS and it states that my company will take care of any expenses during the first month. if this is the case then do i need to maintain any balance in my bank account? i have been in this country for more than 2 years. some one in this forum told me that if i have been UK for more than 12 months then i need to maintain balance of £900 for 30 days, company document will be disregarded. is this true?

I have not maintained any balance for me and my dependents as my company told me previously that they will take care of it.

Please advice as my visa is expiring in 10 days and i am very tensed.

Thanks for your time.

Hi

U dont need to show maintenance if your employer specifies it on cos.
Since you are already in tier 1 u ll get points for maintenance check the form for further clarification
