ILR - Tier 1 General visa

Post by ILR23 » Wed May 29, 2013 1:28 pm

Hi

Has any one recently applied for Tier 1 General ILR visa (after 06th April 2013).

The UKBA has change the form for ILR visa. Do we need to provide the proof for all the annual leave (paid or unpaid when we travelled outside the UK) we had from the work during our Tier 1 visa. Would this include the bank holiday as well.

I have change my job recently and not able to get a letter from my previous employer.

any info/advice would be helpful.

As far as I know;
we don't need to provide the proof for all the annual leave (paid or unpaid when we travelled outside the UK) we had from the work during our Tier 1 visa; if these don't exceed 180 days in any consecutive year. If so then we will have to provide justification under compassionate or compelling reasons as explained http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/.../i ... inuous.pdf?.
This wouldn't include the bank holiday as well as explained in above document but if on bank holiday we were outside UK it will be included in 180 days.

I have change my job recently and not able to get a letter from my previous employer - we don't need previous employers letters; even current employer's letter isn't required if we can prove required income from other listed sources (Bank statement and salary slips, or bank statement and Tax statements etc). Hope this will help.
