Dear all,

Myself Sandeep, As I have been living in UK for last 2years holding an EEA Family member Residence Card. I am wondering about transferring immigration status, as I had to renew my Indian passport but the Residence Card I hold is a separate document but do I still need to inform UKBA by making new application as I really do not want to do so as it takes ages to and one get stuck. If yes how long does it take for transferring.

You don't have to transfer it. The only way of having it put into your new passport is to make a fresh application.
