John, Sushdmehta, push and seniors please help

Post by bestprint » Wed May 29, 2013 10:51 pm

I am writing this for my brother in law who is on Tier 2 visa and working in Belfast city hospital as a Doctor in Training.

His wife is also a doctor and is his dependent. She obviously cannot work on a training post on her current visa but in Round 2 National Recruitment she has secured a training post and is currently trying to sort out her Certificate of sponsorship from her employer.

We appreciate that she has to leave the country to go back to Pakistan to get an entry clearance but my brother in law recently has a serious emergency spinal surgery (following a condition called Cauda Equina Syndrome). Postoperative rehabilitation can take up to 8 weeks and she is his sole carer.

We want to know is it possible that her case can be dealt individually under compassionate ground that she can apply her Tier 2 General Visa while staying in the UK.

Any help from seniors and moderators will be appreciated.
