Post by JaiHanuman » Thu May 30, 2013 7:58 am

Hi All,

Can you please help with appeal lodging.

1. I am going Fax the appeal from so do I need to send evidences/documents through the fax or do I need to send them separately through post?
2. after sending the Fax do we get any confirmation from the Tribunal service or we need to chase up to find out they have received my faxed appeal form?

Please help me with this. Many Thanks in advance

You are not required to fax additional document or evidence straight away! You can always post it on a later date! The vital part of the process is your sending your appeal form with payment information within the 10 working days of receiving the refusal notice.

As soon as payment is deducted from your account (takes about 7-14 working days) you can call them up to get your appeal reference number or just wait for it in the mail.
IMpossible is 2 letters to long!

Thanks for the reply cho-ice.

I phoned tribunal service center and they said the following questions:

1. do I need to send the all the evidences with appeal form in the Fax
answer: yes you need to send them all with Fax.

2. I am waiting for some more documents to become available how can I send them.
answer: you should make a note on the appeal form that you are going to send additional documents and post them later.

3. Do I need to call you back after I have sent my appeal form.
answer: Not today but after 2 weeks - 3 weeks as they are filing today who sent appeal forms on 14th may.

I am sharing this info may be it will be helpful for others.

Also instead of going through expensive solicitors and getting failed. there is free charity service across the UK for immigration services.

contact Citizen Advice Bureau for free advice from experts.
