Age Limit for Financial Requirement?

Does anyone know whether there is an age limit on the financial requirement to sponsor a spouse from abroad. a lady I know is 77 years old and no longer in employment. She would like to sponsor her 65 year old husband.

But she has to meet the financial requirement if she wants to bring her husband on a spouse visa. This can be done by employment, savings or certain benefits etc :wink:
