I think its best u wait till u and partner have been together for two yrs. Hopefully u can get married in that time and get a job. Then u have to wait till you have lived together for two years. Did u send in Ur pay slips to them? That would even if they didn't mention it. And as i have stated i am in employment full time permanent employment the UKBA were made aware of this just after the application was made.
And no where in the application refusal does it mention about finances or employment etc.
