Medical illness for ILR egligibilty

Post by tripas33 » Thu May 30, 2013 5:39 pm

Hello Guys,

Need your guidance again...I will be eligible to apply for ILR in October 2013 after completion of my 5 years stay in UK. But I have a gap of over 9 months in year 2010 ( Jan 2010- October 2010) due to medical reasons. I was undergoing treatment in my home country where I was treated for illness and was advised by doctors for a routine check up and treatment. I returned UK after fully recovering and clearance from doctors. I choose to get treated in the home country as I do not have any blood relatives in UK to take care off me during treatment. Do you think , I would be eligible to apply for ILR with this gap of 9 months ? If so , what documents do I need to provide with the application form ?

Many Thanks
Trips

Thanks Luca , but I don't see much information in this thread. I have certificate from doctor where I was treated but no document from NHS.Do you think this could be a problem ?
