New to the Forum

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and reading the messages on here has helped me keep my sanity. Similar to some people on here I am not allowed to work (despite applying in time) so have lost my job...my MP has contacted Home Office....said we should wait ten days before we hear anything from them....it is just a really frustrating time...I applied for discretion based on seven year rule (my sons are nine and eight/ and we have lived in the UK for over nine years). I would just like to share my timeline which is below:


Application sent: 4th November, 2012
Acknowledgement letter dated: 6th November, 2012
Biometrics letter dated: 8th March, 2013
Biometrics taken: 20th March, 2013
Decision: Waiting
