FLR O for my dependent while I am applying for 10 years long

Post by baba_baba » Fri May 31, 2013 1:13 pm

I m applying for 10 years long residence and for my wife and baby (born in the UK), should I apply on FLR O as I don't still have my ILR? can I use FLR O instead FLR M?

I qualify to apply for ILR on 23 July 2013 and my wife visa expires on 5 Aug 2013. I am on workpermit and she is my dependent and baby was born April 2013.

Please help me on this as I want to apply through long residence route.. Thanks in advance

I think your wife may make the appropriate application in-time, on the assumption that your Long Residence application will eventually succeed. Request that her application be considered after yours.

Baby does not need to make any application.

Hi,
I was reading your other post, is it right in saying that she can apply only through FLR M not FLR O?
As i m not a settle person till i get my ILR, should i use FLR O as it covers other reasons not covered by other forms.

Being a work permit dependant may make a difference to the type of application.

ILR 10 years

Thank you for your reply. I m going apply through FLR M for my wife. I have another question, my wife visa expires on 01/08/2013 and my ten years get complete by 27/08/2013. that leaves me to apply earliest 31/07/2013 (28 days before 10 years period). therefore my wife and applications should be sent spot on 31/07/2013, can I send my wife application before I send mine?

I m worried about last minute rush and unexpected delays..

Please advice on this, thank you.
