I am sending my application for extension this week.
I would like your help in explaining few points:
I am a sole director of a limited company, I have to show £35000 in salary for the last year.
I have taken £12000 as a salary and the rest as dividends.
I haven't been transferring the salary on a regular basis, I have transferred it to my personal account on different dates and in different amounts.
I read in the policy guidance that I may require an accountant letter showing the breakdown of the net payments of the salary.
My accountant provided a general letter saying that my salary was fully paid between the period of 1st April 2012 and 31st March 2013, but did not specify the breakdown of the amount.
Can I explain the salary breakdown in my covering letter or should it be done by the accountant?
Kind regards
