Hello all forumers:
Luckily after waiting nearly a year, I received my visa recently. Coincidentally, I also got a permanent job offer within my local area.
I had a call from the employer's HR Assistant saying that she is currently waiting for the Team to make a decision before issuing an offer letter. The reason being my FLRM is only until April 2015 and the post is permanent.
I mentioned to this Assistant that I intend to stay here permanently. Plus if the temporary visa was a problem then I would have never been employed before in the first place?
I know that the confirmation letter you received from UKBA says that we can work with no restriction. But what else should I say to them to convince that I can take up the job?
Thank-you very much.
With regards, Mimi.
