Urgent Unsual ILR Query

Post by Needurhelp » Sun Jun 02, 2013 9:29 am

Hello,

I would to enquire about possibility of applying for ILR from India. I am representing a case which is very unusual, yet very legitimate.

Mrs. SY entered UK as a HSMP dependent on 30th May 2005 and she lived in the UK until 4th Dec 2009. She had to leave to India due to breakdown in her relationship. However she had visa till 30th June 2011. She applied for divorce in India during Nov 2009 and that process was completed in Feb 2011.

Since Dec 2009 she have been living separately in very isolated conditions due to her family background. According to reports she was confined to 4 walls to avoid any potential embarrassment due to their divorce. Her family hails from a village where pride is considered as foremost component of life.

I am happy to provide more details if you need to understand this case any further. However I will appreciate if you can advise me of any potential clauses under the Immigration Law to apply for ILR for Mrs. SY to empower her with basic human rights and offer her good quality of life.

Had she been in UK, she would have been offered all legal aid and support to apply for her ILR under exceptional circumstances.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Mrs. SY's Representative.

Does Mrs SY actually have any family in the UK?
