You need to show cohabitation documents nhs letter, NI letter etc.. (if desperate, then any document that has your partner's name on will suffice) it needs to show name, date and address spread as evenly as possibly over the period since she last was granted leave up to a maximum of 2 years you can use your bank statements.

Get hold of your housing benefit entitlement letter and read whether it says .....an amount because you are a couple £112.55 on the applicable amount?

Also, are you claiming JSA if so, how much do you get per week?

What about my question re; the housing benefit?

You need to show adequate maintenance without recourse to public funds.

Well you need to make sure that the benefit calculation does not include a 'couple amount' as your wife is subject to immigration control. You need either savings or an income in order to meet the adequate maintenance requirement.

Thx amber for ur reply. My wife is excluding any benefits. I am only one claiming. Is that a problem for my wife visa ilr. Any suggested amount of saving money for manitance? 2000 or 3000? Thanks
