OCI card - Spelling Error

OCI card - Spelling Error

I received the OCI card for my son sometime back. Every thing was right except that his mother's name had been spelt wrongly by one letter on the OCI card. Does this make a difference?
I sent another application for correction a month back. There is no sign of it anywhere on the IT system.
Suggestions and advice are welcome.
