Degree certificate

Do i need to send a copy or original degree certificate if i am sending my application by post? The degree i am claiming on is the same as used in my initial extension.

No, do not send it. If it's not requested, do not send it (and that applies for any documentation).

It is not mandatory but it is strongly advised to send it as i did in my successful leave to remain recently.

I was told to not include anything that wasn't mandatory.

I had a PEO appointment, and took my degree certificate with me just in case. It wasn't needed. The case worker already had evidence of my degree because of my previous application. I wouldn't take the risk of complicating the paperwork the case worker needs to go through or the risk of it being lost.
