Visa

Hi,

You can apply for 5 year long term Visa which is only given for Indian Origin People, like in case your son.

For that VFS website has clear list of information

Alternatively, you could also apply for PIO card for him which is 15 years valid and also can stay in India for longer duration, example:1 year without registration with FRRO

PIO cardholders need to register themselves if their stay exceeds 180 days and need to do so within 30 days from exceeding 180.

children below 16 yrs don't need to be registered irrespective of their visa status.
