Citizenship for Spouse of naturalised Irish citizen

Post by desibuddy » Thu Jun 06, 2013 8:29 pm

Hi folks

I am a naturalized Irish citizen(recently granted ). My wife is living with me in ireland since last 4 years.

As per INIS there is only 3 year requirement for spouse of Irish citizen. Can she apply for citizenship now?

Is there any one who had applied for irish citizenship on the basis of 'spouse of irish citizen' immediately after their spouse become naturalized citizen?

Thanks in advance

The vodafone bills should be fine. Otherwise, aside from bills you can also send bank statements, bank letters, tax office letters, or any kind of official letter.

I think if your application is with the further processing team, the next stage is to send it to the minister for him to approve it. But there is no way to know how long the current stage will take. They could move it further once they have received your documents if this is all they are pending, or they could also take a couple more months if they have other things to check. Once it is with the minister, it should take 1 to 3 months for your to receive a decision letter.
