ILR Query- intend to apply Aug 2013

Hi

I have a query re ILR, wondering if someone can hep.

I entered UK on 30 Aug 2008 on WP through an Indian IT consulting company. I then obtained Tier 1 (General) on 29th Oct 2008.
I was then sent to India (thru the same company) on 1st Feb 2009 for business purposes & returned to UK on 13th Jun 2009.
For this period, my ex-employer has recently provided me a letter stating that the travel was for business purposes & I had my salary paid.
NOTE: But, the P45 form shows leaving date of 31 Jan 2009- which means I left UK employment then.
After my return on 13 Jun 2009, I found a new job the same year & left UK on 12-Dec-2009 to complete relieving formalities in India. I then returned to UK on 05-Jan-10 to start my new employment. The other P45 form also shows leaving date of 12 Dec 2009.

During these absences, I was not paid UK salary/allowances but my travel was for business purposes related to my employment in the UK- for which my ex-employer has issued a letter as well.

Do you think given the change in rules (180 days in 12 months) I hold a decent change of a successful ILR in Aug.? Any help much appreciated.
