surname change in ILR

surname change in ILR

dear sir

i like to change surname for my partner .. which is the correct form to send please advice me .

i have already send BRP (RC) form but they send it back stating that it is invalid ....

She got her ILR on 2010 , she want to change her surname .

can any OISC approved Representative can help with this please

i came to uk on 2004 on work permit and ILR on 2010 ,i got my uk passport on 2011
but my wife still hold Indian passport with ILR .
basically to change surname for my wife , which is the correct form to use .please advice me

I believe this matter refers to change of name not correction of name and therefore, initially there should not be any specific application form for it rather:
There is nothing in the law of the United Kingdom to prevent people from
changing their name simply by using another one and gradually
becoming known by it. A person who wishes to evidence the change
may do so by advertising it in the local press, by making a statutory
declaration, or by executing a deed poll.
