Tier 2 - Spouse visa rejected

Post by rajp123 » Sat Jun 08, 2013 11:33 am

Hi All,

I need some guidance from mods and seniors. I have applied for my wife as dependent of Tier 2 in Apr 2013 with all the relevant documents. The bank statement submitted was more than 31 days. It was out by 1 day. It was rejected saying that bank statement was beyond 31 days. They haven't sent the bank statements and with the other documents. So i have reapplied in May with all the docs and the updated statement assuming that HO has all my previous bank statements. Now it was refused saying that i have only produced recent bank statements but not 3 months bank statements.

What is the best thing to do now? Please advice. Some are suggesting to apply for decision review.

I was advised that this is the best place to get proper information. Please guide me . Just to let you know application was made in India.

Thanks for your time.

Regards

When you said you re-applied did you make a fresh application?
If so, then it'll be treated as a new application, and you will have to send all the supporting documents as you will do it for the first time. In your case, three months bank statements.

UKBA will not connect any supporting documents, to your previous applications especially when the application was refused for a valid reason.

However, if you submitted your documents as additional evidence based on UKBA's request on your original application, then you can ask for review. But I suppose this is not the case with your application as its been refused for a different reason (more than 31 days).
