Tier 1 ent visa application

Hi,

I want to apply for my Tier 1 ent visa from PSW route. I want to join as a director of my brother's existing company. My brother got the same tier 1 visa from this company.

What is your opinion?

as per my understanding you can join existing business ..... you must be a Director of the company at the time of application but you still need to show the £50k funds ...... and for extension you both need to show separate investment of 50k each and same for the job creation as you have not applied as team but only using same company.

this is what my understanding but wait for others opinion too.

rehan is correct. 50k investment and 2 jobs needs to be separate for each as you are not part of team. Also, while application i would advice you not to mention anything about your brother's previous application in covering letter. There is a chance that they might think you are actually rotating money and using the same funds that your brother showed while application. Ending up in calling you for interview asking for source of funds etc...etc...If you are mentioning anything about your brother in your cover letter, make sure you give full information clearly along with any evidences. Else, better not to provide any information at all as you will have everything to claim points on your own.
