Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa to Tier 2 General

Hi,

My first trip to UK on Tier 2(X company sponsored) ICT Short term Visa for 10 months. 15-MAY-2011 - 27-MAR-2012

My 2nd Trip to UK on Tier 2 (X company sponsored) ICT Long term Visa

26-JUL-2012 - TILL DATE ( Visa still valid till APR-2015)

Now I'm trying to switch my present Tier-2 ICT Long term sponsored by X company to a new company Y.

Please advise if this is possible as per rules of UKHomeOffice.

FYI - I'm in UK working for X company now.

Nope. You cant. You have to go back to your country wait for 12 months and then reapply for TIER 2 General (for the Y company) from your home country.

If it helps, you don't have to wait until your current VISA expires. The cooling off period starts right from the day you leave UK.

Now for this new application Restricted sponsorship, RLMT, applies as you are switching from your old company to another.
