Tier 2 General - Graphic Designer Sponsorship

Hi,

I am a freelance graphic designer working for a UK based company from my home country. My concern is can my employer sponsor me as a Graphic Designer? I have seen the occupation listed in the recent skill shortage list but not sure if a sponsor can employ someone as a Graphic Designer from outside the UK.

Ofcourse they can as long as the following holds true,

1. Check if you have valid SOC code for Graphic designer in the latest SOC code list. Also, check if your job descriptions match what you do at your work.

2. Check if your company can offer the minimum salary mentioned for your SOC code.

3. Finally, ask your company if they have a TIER 2 sponsorship license and if they can offer restricted sponsorship.

I am also having same problem and confused of which features should I consider to get employed as a graphics designer outside my country.Well thanks for your post it helps to take further decisions.
