OCI postal app returned by Birmingham CGI.

I have made a family (Me + two minor kids) application and sent to Birmingham CGI by post more than a month back. But my application returned with following comments.

1. Original documents must be submitted.
2. Parents consent letter for minor kids must be submitted.
3. Part-B must be submitted by each applicant.
4. Mother surrender certificate or Indian passport required.

Now, I am confused with 3 and 4 above.
3. I had thought only one part B required for family app?
4. My wife Indian citizen. I don't know why does they need Mother surrender certification or passport?


Any suggestions on points 3 and 4.

Well. It looks problem was happened due to new form format introduced around in the May. I have posted my form in April and it is reviewed in June so failed as per new validation rules? (i.e. Originals must be sent and Part B is needed for each application)

I am planning to submit application in person now with additional amendments as follows -

1. All originals
2. Parents consent letter for minors
3. Part B for each application.

Above document were not submitted with my postal application earlier.

Now, the problem is application printed in April has Part B. However, I have submitted only one Part B for all of us. So If I go to re-print application, surprisingly it's not giving me Part-B for any of our applications.

1. If I walk to CGI Birmingham along with additional documents mentioned above, they may say application must be in a new format.

2. If I try to re-print, Part B is not generated.

3. Finally, I may have to re-fill brand new online application. But not sure if that does conflict anywhere?

Any suggestion please.

Submitted application in person. It was so pleasant.

As soon as I come back home realised my acknowledgement has typo error in my 'Passport number'

Not sure does it affect my actual application, any suggestion?
