Visitor Visa for mother in Law

Post by Tier2GenSan » Sun Jun 09, 2013 3:35 pm

Hi,

I am planning to invite my mother in law to UK. Can anyone confirm what is the duration of Visa she can apply for, is it only for 6 months or can she have it for a longer duration(I know she cannot stay for longer than 6 months but can she have a visa stamped for lets say an year).

This is the first time she would be applying for a visa

Hi Amber,

Thanks for the reply.

I am on a Tier 2 Gen Visa and have been here for 3 and half years.
