I gather you are making a set(m) application. There are no set limits for absences and each case will be judged on its own merits. If the absence was limited and for compelling reasons i.e. employment, family emergency, to give birth.... it shouldn't prove disastrous.ric1982 wrote:Hi,
Does anyone know how long a dependent allowed to have absence from UK for the ILR application?

Again, each case is judged on its own merits, what was the reason for the absence and how long?ric1982 wrote:So it is a grey area?.
Does anyone knows the UKBA guidance document for this?
So it was a holiday?ric1982 wrote:Its for about a year. and not for employment, family emergency, to give birth.... etc.D4109125 wrote:Again, each case is judged on its own merits, what was the reason for the absence and how long?ric1982 wrote:So it is a grey area?.

Each case will be based on its own merits. 12 months for a holiday, well is that limited and for a valid reason?ric1982 wrote:Any one have any experience for this kind of case?
