Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General's Dependant

Post by su07 » Mon Jun 10, 2013 12:38 pm

Hi,

I'm in Tier 2 General (sponsored) valid from April 2013 . My wife is in Tier 2 ICT valid from feb 2011 to feb 2014 . We are from India.

1) Can my wife apply as a dependant of mine inside UK ?

2) Do I need to get any letter from my sponsor?

Please help me with this.

Thanks

Hi

Your wife will need to make the dependent visa application from the country of her origin, i.e. India.
I don't think a letter from your sponsor is needed. What is needed is proof of your relationship with her- so marriage certificate, any bills under your joint name, your passport and visa copies, maintenance funds and her passport for the application.
