Post by ismina18 » Mon Jun 10, 2013 4:40 pm

Good afternoon Sir/Madam

I would like to applay for form MN1 Registration as a British citizen of child under 18 for my child.under section .1.3
in Section 5
The application must be supported by two referees, my problem is the referee which one should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional
capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.
My daughter is 2 years and 2 month , i contact my daughter doctor also her health visitor and them refuse sign the form , them reason is them don't sign such of think documents.
My daughter still does not go to school,so teacher is out of option. In that matter i out of professional person who is engaged with my daughter, what i can do in this situation?

Was your child born in the UK? Then he would apply under section 1.3.

If born abroad he would apply under section 3.1 (and can only apply when one of the parents apply for naturalisation as well).

For this and for your question about referees I suggest you check - Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting - children.
