More than 1 sponsor for CoS application

Hi all - My T5 visa expired recently and fortunately, I have interest from more than 1 company in sponsoring me for a T2 visa!

Company A submitted a CoS application for me a while ago, however this is delayed and I am looking to start working in the UK asap. I am wondering if it is also possible for another Company B to submit a CoS application for me at the same time to see if Company B's one is approved first. Company A and B are very similar, and I don't mind working for either - however Company B has offered a slightly higher salary which means more points in the prioritisation process for the monthly CoS allocation review, based on the current salary brackets.

From what I understand, more than 1 CoS cannot be assigned to the same person - i.e. if either or both CoS applications are approved, then only 1 company must assign me a CoS through the sponsor management system - the other company cannot assign me the CoS and must cancel the CoS. However, it is not clear if more than 1 CoS application can be made for the same person - does anyone have input on this?

U need to decide u can't have 2 cos applications at the same time.
