Urgent travel to India Unique Situation

Hi All,
Got naturalization on 12th March this year, yet to apply for British passport (just completed the initial stage of online process), Father admitted in hospital need to travel in short period, advise please. Unable to get British passport on premium service as it is meant for those who already have one, and as per Indian Government rule, cannot travel to India after three months of getting foreign nationality. Emailed High Commission of London, yet to receive a reply. No answer when I tried the telephone number. Can anyone help please.

though you have ceased to be an indian citizen upon naturalisation but until you have surrendered your indian passport, you can use that for travel however you need to pay fine when you surrender your passport.
you have to take a decision based on your circumstances whether you would wish to do that or wait for 3-5 weeks to sort out Brititish passport and Indian visa for travel.

Thank you very much for the reply, yet to surrender the Indian passport need to travel shortly can’t wait for 3-4 weeks, hope there will not be any problem other than paying fine to the embassy.
