Post by dh_madhu » Thu Jun 13, 2013 1:30 am

Hi
i came into UK on a tier 2 dependant visa in Jan 2010. NOW am working on a tier 2 general visa after having been sponsored by a company. Would I be eligible by dec 2014 for ilr?

please let me know.

Thanks in adv.

Nope, time on dependent visa does not count towards an ILR. Start counting your 5 years from the day you have started working on Tier 2. And if it is going beyond 2016, prepare for a salary check of £35000 :)
