Dependent Visa Query

Post by sureshkumarguduri » Thu Jun 13, 2013 11:10 am

Hi All,

Actually i am applying for Tier 2 General Visa,I have one query, regarding my wife surname in my Kids Passport.

In India after the marriage, wife takes the surname of husband, in my case Wife’s surname is still not changed/endorsed in Passport .And we intimated the same to Passport Officer Hyderabad that when my wife’s passport get to the renewal period time ,then we will replace/endorse my surname to my wife's surname.
I am providing the Aadhar card (Government Issued unique Identity number) which provides that my wife surname has changed to my surname ,but not updated in her passport.

I will give an example scenario below ,how it is exactly in my case.

Husband surname -A
wife Surname -B
___________________
In Marriage Certificate:

Husband surname -A
wife Surname -B
__________________
In my Wifes passport:

wife Surname -B
_________________________
In kids Birth Certicate:

Husband surname -A
**wife Surname -A
Kids Surname -A
_____________________

Government Issued Unique Identity Certificate in India:

Husband surname -A
**wife Surname -A
Kids Surname -A
_______________________________

Wifes surname will be changed in Passport when it get the Renewal time period

So will there any trouble for getting of VISA for my wife n kid?

Thanks,
Suresh

I would explain that in the covering letter, might confuse the case worker other wise.
If u take a affidavit from a lawyer that ll help as well
