Child Minder Visa

Hi,

I would like to bring one of our distant relative to UK from India to take care of our child as Wife and myself are working. I am currently employed full time but wife is employed as part-time.

Once she is here, probably my wife may apply for full-time job. Child Minder basically needed to drop my kid at nursery and pick up when the nursery closes.

I have already seen in UKBA website that we can process child minder visa but would like to know how to apply for it, what documents are needed and any advice from anyone who have processed such visa before.

It would of great help if I could give some details about processing this visa.

It's not possible. Please indicate where you have read about this on the UKBA site so I can correct your misunderstanding.

This where I have read and it says we can process child minder as temporary visitor visa. Is this not possible? Please advise.

Yes, that situation is possible, but your original post gave no indication that it would be an unpaid visit or that she is a close relative. Also it seems to be only so that you can both work and that is not permitted:

it is not simply an arrangement to enable both parents to take gainful employment (that is, the arrangement should be to help in a temporary situation only);
