Have you read the FAQ before posting?

See Q1 & Q2 in Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting - children.

What counts is the date your application was approved. Not when it was submitted.

You may find quite some information in the leaflet given to you when your ILR is approved. Everything about registring a child, or benefits are explained in summary in that document.

There are quite some discussions here explaining information about similar situation, such as the one that Jambo has guided you to.

In short summary (with my limited knowledge sourcing from this website basically):

Yes you can claim benefits for children if you are financially eligible for, check the gov.uk 's calculator.

No you cant apply for passports, none of your children are born British. You have to register a child born in UK prior to your ILR granted. This doesn't affect your right to claim benefit as long as you are the father appearing in the birth certificates.
