Does Housing Benefits affects application?

Post by renatin_uk » Fri Jun 14, 2013 9:20 pm

Hello everyone..
I just want to clarify something.
Ive heard a lot rumours about benefits...
Friend of mine said she couldnt apply for BC because she had a house benefits.
The reason is because you need to prove that you can be able to afford yourself for 5 years.
I never claimed a benefits. Im waiting for approval letter.
I just would like to know if this is true.....
Thanks Everyone

See and read British Citizenship – Good Character Requirement FAQs particularly Question 23.

Totally, completely utter rubbish.

You do not need to work for naturalisation. You can claim every single benefit that exists that your are entitled to, and still get naturalised.

By the way, I have heard the rumor that petrol prices will double overnight, salaries will be cut in half, and sky might fall down.
