maintenance funds...lloyds bank statement..

Post by smartmind101 » Sat Jun 15, 2013 2:44 am

Hi Friends.

I wll be applying for entrepreneur visa soon and just received a letter from Lloyds bank that my account will soon be shifted to TSB Bank (since they are splitting from Lloyds). Now my question is that I have my £900 maintenance funds in Lloyds TSB at the moment and by the time I will complete my 90 days, I will get 2 bank statements with Lloyds TSB logo and the last one with only TSB Logo.

Although my account number and sort code will remain the same but will that create any problem when I submit last 3 months bank statement with my applications?....suggestions from all senior members required. Thanks !!

Reason for asking this question is.... a strong sense that UKBA is looking out for silly excuses at the moment. Plz advise....

Whichever statement you submit doesn't make any difference. The only thing you need to make sure is that the bank is governed by the Financial Services Authority.

That shouldn't be problem as they are same bank group and your bank details are staying same but if you have enough time than open new bank account and maintain funds for 90 days.

As long the funds are available in the account it doesn't matter. But as you sensed they would make silly reasons to refuse. Take a letter from your bank confirming the changes being made which might help you in future.
