NATURALISATION

i have query ,
last week i received my ilr after complition of ten years lawfully in uk. i apply ilr before december 2012, rule changed on december 2012 if u have any conviction spent or unpent must be declare, i have one caution conviction,reprimand and warning on shoplifting six year ago, i go to police station took my picture and finger print, i admitted this offence after this police officer you can go and NO any court and NO penality involve this matter, but i feel every time for this stupid thing,
when i apply ilr i didnt declare it, no problem in my ilr i got it, next year i apply naturalisation/BC, can i declare when i apply BC then seven year of this offence will be passed, please clear me i declare or not.thanks

See British Citizenship – Good Character Requirement FAQs Question 2. If you had a simple police caution (cannot tell from what you have wrote) you should have declared this for ILR and given that under the old rules it would have been immediately 'spent' and under the new rules would have not been an issue after 24 months it would not have adversely affected the application (assuming it is a simple police caution - likely). If you have a police caution you should declare it in the extra information box. The biometric data (fingerprints and DNA sample) should be deleted from IDENT1 and the NDNAD sometime late this year or next year. The actual police caution at the moment remains forever (basically) but in the future this should change.

How did you do that? Last time I checked, DBS (formerly CRB) checks on oneself aren't possible.

Anyway, I heard that the UKBA has direct access to the PNC, in which case a subject access request is probably closer to the type of check that they would be doing.
