Please help filling in form AN. Questions 2.4 and 2.5

I am in the process of filling out form AN and I am not sure how to answer questions 2.4 and 2.5 in section 2.

To me, both questions are practically the same and looks like I will have to put the same info in both tables. I am an EEA national, who has been exercising Treaty rights through employment. There were, within the last 6 years, short periods of unemployment (no longer than 2 weeks) plus one time when I went travelling abroad for 4 months - everything within the limits set by the UKBA.

In question 2.4, do I have to list all the periods between jobs and describe them as such in the last column or I just omit them and write only my employment periods? I believe I don't have to write anything about the period when I was abroad, do I? And what details regarding my employment should I write in the last column? Surely not the same things they are asking me again in the following question 2.5?

Could someone please clarify? Thank you.
