Marriage Certificate Attested

Hello,

Hope somebody will be able to help me.

I am on ILR and in the process of getting my naturalization. My wife is on visa and we will be applying for her ILR soon.

I wanted to know do I have to get our marriage certificate attested (authenticated) by Indian Embassy while applying for her ILR or citizenship?

As I realized once I become a british citizen Indian Embassy wont recognize me so planning ahead?

As for my knowledge its not required to get attested by indian embassy.
