Spousal Visa with 3 years endorsement

Post by johnj1 » Wed Jun 19, 2013 4:58 pm

Hi all,

My wife applied for spousal visa in October 2012 which was refused, however, after ECM review, her passport was endorsed with 3 yrs visa. The application was made after 12th July 2012, when the new law came into effect, and I think the law requires the BHC to grant 5 years visa for spouse. Has anyone that got his/her spose visa recently experienced this?. Thank you all

No you get 2.5 then you have to get a further 2.5 before settlement, thus 5 years in total. At all 3 stages you must meet the new requirements.
