Can one switch to tier 2 general mid term?

Can one switch to tier 2 general mid term?

My brother is doing executive mba from a london college. He is in tier 4. The course is for 16 months, now after 4 months in the course he has got a great graduate level job offer, which will provide him COS.

Can he switch from tier 4 to tier 2 general now, without any problem?

He can leave the UK and apply from home (at any time), but he can't switch into T2 from inside the UK.

Thank you! You mean he can leave UK with COS in hand and apply from outside right? No cooling off period or anything?

Also, if he decides to finish study, then can he switch to tier 2? Or he has to leave UK for that as well?

An MBA a student who is in tier 4, can change to tier 1 entrepreneur if they have pound 50,000 available? Is it okay if that is personal money?
