Do i need a visa ?

Post by olive28 » Wed Jun 19, 2013 9:44 pm

I was refused entry to UK in 2009 and 2010 . First for not being honest about my immigration history and second time because i should have applied for a visa before arriving, due to my previous refusal. I am a Croatian national. Croatia will officially become a full EU member from 1st of July ( less than two weeks). I am planning to travel to London to attend a short course in September, so i would be coming as an EU citizen. My question is do i need to apply for a visa before i travel due to my previous refusal or will i be able to travel without worrying about being refused again ? I understand that Croatian nationals will no longer be subject to immigration control after 1st for July?
Many thanks for your time.

I think u need visa.A visa generally gives non-citizens clearance to enter a country and to remain there within specified constraints, such as a time frame for entry, a limit on the time spent in the country, and a prohibition against employment. But before that you have take advice from a lawyer.

Once Croatia joins the EU you will have free movement within EU member countries. You won't need a visa.
