FLR (M) question!

Post by Roisinmdoyle » Thu Jun 20, 2013 4:48 pm

Hi guys

I've had a look on here and can't see an answer to my questions so was hoping someone could help me.

My boyfriend is applying for the FLR(M) visa, and I am his sponsor (unmarried partner). We have an appointment booked to use the premium service.

I am a little worries as I need my passport for work quite regularly, do you know how long they need my passport for? I had hoped that if you use the premium service they can copy my passport there and stamp the copy to say it's real, and I can take my passport away, but not sure how it works and the FLR(M) form states quite clearly that they do not accept copies of documents.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Roisin

You'll need to attend the appointment with him and submit your passport with the application. This will be returned to you at the PEO by the caseworker.
If the application is in order, your partner should be granted FLR(M) on the same day with the BRP arriving in the post a few days later.
