Maintainence funds for dependents

How much is required for maintenance funds for dependents if the main applicant is in Uk for more than 12 months.. for Tier1 Entrepreneur Visa. Some one confused me saying that the dependents time is counted as well 'say if your dependents are in Uk for less than 12 months or more than 12 months criteria differs... Can anybody who have dependents and have already applied on same category please advice.

I know very well its easy to follow policy guidance but what if someone make rubbish statement, makes you think twice and Thats the reason i want to confirm from someone who have already processed there application.

As per my understanding its £600 if u r in country for more than 1 year irrespective of dependant time in uk.

yes time of dependent in uk does count as well.

there is different maintenance requirement if dependent is more than 12 months or if less than 12 month in uk.

please check guideline for exact amount.

Don't take any risk. Don't get confused. Go exactly as per the guidance notes. Take time to read it carefully( Dependant policy guidance) because it will save you lot. Definitely higher maintenace funds apply if your dependants in UK for less than 12 months. I applied with 2 dependants, £600 each, because there are in UK for more than 12 months. If they are less than 12 months, may be double of this or more. I can't remember exact amount.
